Lake Chabot Regional Park

Which outdoor activities are you interested in?

Lake Chabot is a pretty small man-made lake, it's located in Alameda County, part of the lake lies within Oakland city limits.

The park is a peaceful place especially in a week day. During the weekend families and friends gather for a picnic.

It's easy to access, 45 minutes away from San Francisco and just 18 miles from Berkeley. It's so nice to have such a beautiful park so close by with diverse outdoor activities.

If you are an hiker a fisherman a cyclist or simply a family with children, you're at the good place!

Lake Chabot Loop is a 10.40 mile loop trail of moderate difficulty with rolling hills. The landscape is very varied, I see people fishing, walking, doing gymnastics and the famous poison oak ( we don't have this plant in Europe!)
